Trichotomy & Percussion Ensemble

Over 2020 and 2021 we've spent some time developing a suite of new music for jazz trio & percussion. The percussion parts feature Vibraphone, Marimba, various hand percussion instruments and drums.

This suite of work has been composed by the musicians of Trichotomy and selected QLD composers.

All the music has been composed with high school/tertiary musicians in mind, playable by jazz and classical musicians who are interested in new, interesting and challenging music that blends these musical worlds.

All of the tracks are available in multiple formats - in-studio video recordings, audio tracks, sheet music (scores and parts), backing tracks, composer notes, and interviews.

You'll find links to purchase all the music below. Available through www.preparedsounds.com

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding, and advisory body.

and the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) - a partnership between the Queensland Government and Moreton Bay Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
